WELCOME TO MY PHOTOGRAPHS OF OLD RAILWAY RELICS |
THE AUTHOR - I photographed the Cambrian line before the loss of its traditional character with the introduction of radio control signaling and unmanned level crossings with barriers in 1987. Although I have not been back for many years, I know Talerddig and Barmouth Boxes were removed. I do not know the fate of Carno or Towyn. Aberystwyth Water Tower survived to supply the Vale of Rheidol. Unfortunately my dates are approximate due the lapse of time but I hope my photographs will bring back memories and assist those who need detail. - HERE ARE SOME EXAMPLES. CLIVE MARK 2004 |
